Pipeline Alerts Agent
Monitors stale deals, missing next steps, and at-risk opportunities, and notifies owners in Slack before they slip.
A pipeline report shows you which deals went stale last week. This agent pings the deal owner the hour a deal goes quiet, with the next step it's missing.
What it does
Stale-deal reports are autopsies: by the time the dashboard turns a deal red, the buyer has been silent for two weeks and the momentum is gone. The Pipeline Alerts Agent watches open opportunities on the context layer in real time, catches the patterns that precede a slip (no next step set, no buyer reply, a close date about to pass) and notifies the owning AE in Slack the moment it happens, not in next Monday's roll-up.
- Watches deals for missing next steps
- Detects at-risk patterns in real time
- Notifies the owner before it slips
Runs under Safe Autonomy. Every move is proposed, approved on your terms, committed, and reversible in one click.
How it works
Trigger to committed action. Every step is logged, and the final write is reversible.
- 1Trigger
A deal crosses a risk pattern
An open opportunity hits a watched condition in real time: its next-step field goes empty, the close date passes with no movement, or buyer activity stops for longer than deals at this stage usually tolerate.
- 2Step 01
Read the deal's live state
The agent pulls the opportunity's stage, next step, last activity, and recent buyer engagement from CRM and the context layer to confirm the risk is real and not a logged-but-quiet deal.
- 3Step 02
Match against at-risk patterns
It compares the deal against the signatures that precede slippage at its stage and size, so it alerts on a genuinely stalling deal rather than every deal that had a slow day.
- 4Step 03
Name the missing action
Each alert states the specific gap, missing next step, 11 days since the last buyer touch, close date passed, so the AE knows exactly what to fix rather than just that something is wrong.

Alert to the owner in Slack
The agent direct-messages the owning AE in Slack with the deal, the risk, and the missing step, and threads follow-ups on the same deal so the channel doesn't flood. Resolving the underlying gap clears the alert on the next check.
In practice
An AE is running 14 open deals. One of them, a $90K opportunity, hasn't had a buyer reply since a 'send me the security docs' email 11 days ago. It still shows green because the stage never changed, and it surfaces as stale only in next week's hygiene report.
The moment the no-reply window crossed the threshold for that stage, the agent DM'd the AE in Slack: this deal, no buyer touch in 11 days, no next step set, close date in 9 days.
The AE sends the security docs and books the next call that afternoon instead of finding the deal flagged red a week later, after the buyer's urgency has cooled.

Put the Pipeline Alerts Agent to work
It ships on the stack you already own and starts proposing moves the week it goes live. You approve the first few. It earns the longer leash from there.
